Now let’s discuss the first analog obsession bundle, which is the colour bundle.
1. Color bundle :
As we told you above, Analog Obsession is also known for making free plugins. The color bundle is a free bundle of two plugins. These plugins emulate classic studio gear. The main purpose of this bundle is to add an analog taste to your digital mixes. The plugins included in this bundle can also be used for mastering. Two plugins are included in the colour bundle of Analog Obsession, and they are described below.
1. PreBOX:
The first plugin included in the analog obsession bundle is the prebox. This amplifier plugin emulates 11 distinct preamp emulations. From settle distortion to crunch, the Distox plugin makes all types of distortion possible. It offers two circuits with various amps and tube models to choose from. The distortion sounds it provides can be applied as high pass or low pass. As we told you above, this plugin consists of two circuits. The American Bundle by the analogue obsession consists of the two plugins discussed below.
MERICA :
- It is EQ plugin developed by the analog obsession.
- It emulates the vintage American EQ console, which is famous for its warmth and punch.
- This plugin can be used to shape vocals, enhance guitars and also be used on the mix.
- This plugin can also be used for mastering purposes.
- It is a 3 band equalizer.
- It has fixed high-pass and low-pass filters.
- It also consists of the oversampling mode for improved sound quality.
- It has been inspired by the mixing consoles of the 60s and 70s, such as those by API.
COMBOX VST by Analog Obsession:
- This plugin combines the pre-amp and the 3-band EQ.
- This plugin is highly favourable for use on bus channels, as it provides warmth and adds rich harmonics to the sound.
- It also has the ability to add presence to high frequencies to make them stand out in the mix.
- It can also be used for the Taming harshness.
- It also has the option of oversampling to improve the audio quality and for anti-aliasing.
- Touch screen support is also available in this plugin.
- Its GUI is resizeable.
- Compatible with most digital audio workstations – DAWs.

Analog Obsession lala :
1. Introduction:
Analog Obsession Lala is a compressor vst. It is the emulation of the Teletronix LA-2A optical compressor. The LA 2A compressor hardware was known for its transparent, smooth compression and the for the addition of the nice harmonics to the sound. This lala vst by analogue obsession has a user-friendly interface. It is designed to capture the sound of LA 2A.

The application and use cases of the lala plugin are listed below.
- As it is designed to capture the sound of la 2a so in this way it is good for taming vocals guitars, bass, and more.
- It adds settle warmth in the sound, so it is beneficial to achieve analog vibe in your mix.
- The main features of this plugin is that it compressors the sound transparently, and it don’t affect any dynamics of the sound.
- It also offers the side chain compression.
- This has been the favourite vst for my producers to use it on the bus to add glue in the mix.
Personal Expirence with Analog Obsession plugins:
In this section of blogpost, I am going to tell you my personal expirence with the analog obsession vsts. So in this section I am going to share their pros and cons according to my personal expirence.
1. Pros:
- These plugins are light to use. I mean, my operating system never get hanged when iam using these plugins. While this is not same with other developer companies plugins. When i open lot of plugin in a project of other companies then analogue obsession most of the time my operating system gets slower.
- Analog obsession all plugins are user-friendly. I mean, they have the simple and clean interface. To my opinion, they are easy to navigate. On the other hand, plugins of other companies have a bit complex interface, and it results in confusion to the user.
- These plugins are very affordable to user of any type. Most of the producer think that they don’t have better sound quality because they are not using expensive brand plugin. But it is not true. I found that these plugins have top-notch quality.
- The main benefit of the analogue obsession all plugins is that they are the emulations of the old studio gears, and also I also love those actual gears.
2. Cons :
- Sometimes I faced bugs when I update these plugins. This can disturbance in my workflow. But it occurs very rarely.
- If I compare these plugins with the paid plugin of same type, then I see that the analogue obsession plugin offer limited features.
