Native Instruments Maschine 3 is a modern sampler that lets the user slice, cut, or edit audio tracks and then use them in songs. As a music producer, I have used this sampler, and this is the latest update from Native Instruments.
In this blog post, I will explore this tool’s new features and how they benefit the user. I will also give an honest review based on my experience and discuss how it differs from its predecessor. So, without wasting any time, let’s get started.
What’s New :
This update adds many new features. The company added some, and some were added by user demand. Here is the list of the new updates.
Stem Separation
This is one of the most powerful features of this plugin. Its main purpose is to separate different elements of the song, such as the drums, bass, vocals, and other instruments. The iZotope‘s renowned RX technology powers this feature.
To use this feature, the user had to load the audio file into any empty plugin slot, access the sample edit tab, and press the stem button. Afterward, the plugin would run an automatic offline process and separate the song’s elements.
This stem separation feature is helpful for Remixing, sampling, and Sound Design and can enhance the user’s workflow.
Maschine Central:
Many producers find it hard to search for the right sounds for the right track. This problem has not yet been solved, but it is easier to solve with this new feature. Now, the plugin has introduced new sound libraries, such as the 700 drums and 144 multi-sampled Kontakt 8 instruments, providing a rich sound palette.
This new update has been named Maschine Central.
Bounce In Place:
This new feature can be a time saver for the producer who always deals with busy and big projects. It allows the user to directly convert the midi files and patterns into audio without exporting them and importing them into the software.
No hardware needed:
This update added new MIDI tools. These flexible tools help split, join, erase, and mute MIDI notes, keyboard shortcuts, computer keyboards, audible MIDI note previews, and more. Thus, the need for MIDI keyboards or any other hardware has been reduced to a greater extent yet has not ended.
Tempo Per Scene:
Some producers need to experience the different tempos of audio samples in a single project. To this end, a new feature named tempo per scene has been introduced. This feature allows the user to set the temp of each scene separately.
Improved Integration with Kontrol S-Series MK3:
For those using the Kontrol S series MK3, the native instruments Maschine 3 have introduced enhanced integration, including transport commands and module views on the S-Series displays. This can be a plus point for this plugin’s performance.
First Look Review:
I used this newly updated plugin, and here I am writing an honest review about this plugin in the form of pros and cons. I am writing this review to help people.
