From film scoring to music production, all tasks are possible with this software. The new features like AI Support etc. also increased its efficiency. This software can also be used for live performances as well.
This is software that has been waiting a lot to be released to the public. It has inspired a lot of music producers to make inspiring music. HISTORY OF FL STUDIO 21
The first fl studio was developed in 1997 when a Belgian programmer named Didier Dambrin produced a four-channel MIDI drum machine which was named Fruity Loops. First, it was developed as free software and at that time many other DAWs were popular and FL Studio was considered inferior among them because it offered limited features. At that time, it wasn’t easy to cook a beat in the FL studio. The company took it seriously and started working on fruity loops, and then Fruity Loops quickly evolved. What’s New in Fl Studio 21
- Audio Envelope & Gain Controls:
In the previous version of FL Studio, if we dragged the sample in the playlist, then to change its gain we had to open a separate plugin to do this. FL Studio now includes audio envelopes and gain controls, which allow us to adjust the volume of a sample easily. To adjust the gain, we can simply hover over the sample or press Shift+F on the keyboard. This feature makes it possible to change the clip’s gain in just a few seconds. 2. A New Browser:
1. Preview Player
This update is the most demanded update by the FL Studio community. The image line has updated the browser section of the DAW. Now this browser shows the iconic image of every sample pack. In the previous versions of the fl studio, if the user clicks on some random sample, then the preview sound of that sample will be played. This volume of the preview sound was only adjustable in the setting of the DAW. But now you can also change the volume of the preview sample within the browser. When the user clicks on any sample, a preview sound will be played but at the bottom of the browser there lies a preview player option with the help of which user can adjust the volume according to its taste. 2. Search Bar
So you got frustrated by searching for your favorite sample on the one in the mega sample library of the FL studio. Don’t worry because now the image line has introduced the search bar in the browser section. Here you can just write the name of your sample or folder, and then Fl Studio will search for you. This search bar is highly accurate and fast. So you never have to worry about searching for your sample again. That is a great update, and here is the picture of that search bar.
3. Plugin Database
Now you can add your favorite plugins to your plugin database. They can be saved even with the screenshot. Now the question occurs, how can I do this?
Well, there are a few steps to take this. They are given as.
- First, open your plugin from the plugin picker section of the software.
- In the top left corner of the plugin, there will be a triangle-shaped icon. Hover your mouse over that icon and there will be a list of new options.
- Click the 6th option, where it will be written: “Add plugin to database ”. After selecting the option there will appear a popup on the screen but select the ok option.
- Now your plugin is added to the database.
- after this step, you will have to go to the database. Search the plugin for the categories, like in the Generator or Effect category. Let the plugin remain in this category or change the categories if you want.
- The plugin is now successfully added to the FL Studio database for easy access in the future.
New Plugins added in FL Studio 21
1.LuxeVERB:
LuxeVERB is a reverb plugin. This plugin was added to the FL Studio 21. In the older versions of FL Studio, there were only two or three reverb plugins like fruity verb, fruity verb 2, and so on. The quality they provided was also fine, but with time new and highly advanced reverb vsts came into the market like Valhalla verb, izotope neo, etc. Their quality has been updated to date. In the game of the reverb plugins, FL Studio was lagging. So to overcome this gap, the image line finally decided to develop a reverb plugin according to the desire of users. Finally, they released the LuxeVERB in FL Studio 21.

This reverb plugin has many features that are listed below.
- This reverb plugin is up-to-date as it provides a lush and natural-sounding reverb.
- This plugin has all the reverb sounds from small rooms to big halls.
- This plugin is very flexible because it has a very large number of controls. You can set decay, size, diffusion, high/low-cut filtering, pre-delay, and more to get your desired sound.
- This plugin also has other vintage reverb settings like the spring reverb, plate, and chamber reverb.
- The luxeverb also allows the user to add nice warmth and vintage character to the wet signal.
2. Vintage Chorus
The next plugin added in this new update is the Vintage Chorus. As the name shows, this is a chorus plugin. This plugin emulates the Roland Juno 6‘s Bucket Brigade Delay (BBD) Chorus. The reason behind this design emulation is that the Roland June 6 was very famous for its warm and rich results. Just try this plugin out and you will be amazed by the results. The other plugin added in the newer version of Fl Studio was the Pitch Shifter. As the name shows, this plugin is used for the shifting of pitch. But wait this is not a traditional pitch shifter as it has two algorithms for shifting pitch. One of them is designed for chaining the pitch of the instruments like pianos, kicks, flutes, etc. The other algorithm is for the vocals. The quality of this plugin is awesome.
