Nexus 5 plugin is a virtual synthesizer known for its high-quality sounds catering to all music genres. Its parent company is reFX. Recently, the company released a big update in the form of Nexus 5. The plugin is primarily a ROMpler, which relies on pre-recorded samples rather than synthesis to produce the sound.

Now, the plugin lets the user import his sounds. This allows the user to create his own presence and expansion packs by letting the user create his routings and build his expansions. The built-in sample editor has slicer, loop, and cross-fade options.

For quick results, users can also use the pre-made preset and tweak them to make them unique. This update can be helpful for the music production community. After this update, everyone will probably release his expansion pack, whether free or not. This could also be a great update for the sound designers.

2. Sounds for Every Style:

The Nexus 5’s new feature is the new sounds added as factory presets. This time, it comes with more than 1,100 new sounds designed for every type of music generation, including EDM, Melodic Techno, House, Vintage Synths, Hip Hop, Lo-fi, Retrowave, Cyberpunk, Drum and Bass, Trance, and more.
